• In 2023, we helped over 2.7 million children experiencing inequality and discrimination to access education through integrated measures such as cash programming, child protection case management and behavior change.Â
• We trained 87,500 teachers to improve child safeguarding, provide psychosocial support and help kids realize their full potential.
• Catch-up Clubs made up for missed learning opportunities, with 48% of our 58,244 participants reaching the highest levels of literacy achievement!
• We helped local partners build temporary learning spaces and replenish essential supplies.
• As co-leader of the Global Education Cluster, we champion impact at every level of government. In 2023, our efforts influenced national leaders to prioritize early childhood development – especially in Ethiopia, Kosovo, South Africa and Cote d’Ivoire.
