She Means Business: A Young Woman’s Story of Economic Empowerment in Ethiopia

Hello, everyone! My name is Tsion, and I want to share with you the incredible journey I've had through Save the Children's Young Women's Leadership & Economic Empowerment Program (LEEP) in Ethiopia. Born and raised in a picturesque community in the Sidama region, my story shows the transformative power of education and empowerment, especially for young women like me.

Over the next three years, the LEEP Academies will invest in 8,900 young female entrepreneurs (ages 18-34), while providing training and mentorship to sustainably grow their businesses. To learn more about LEEP and ways to help more young women like Tsion, please contact Diana Sarro at [email protected].
