President Biden's Fiscal Year 2023 Budget Proposal is a Good Start for U.S. Children
Washington, D.C. (March 28, 2022)聽鈥撀燗fter today鈥檚 release of President Biden鈥檚 fiscal year 2023 budget proposal, Christy Gleason, 黄色视频Vice President of Policy Advocacy and Campaigns issued the following statement: 聽
鈥淭he President鈥檚 Budget Request offers a good starting point for children in the U.S. and a more inclusive approach to global development, but it fails to address the needs of children around the world. At a moment when our world faces growing needs due to COVID-19, conflict, and climate, flat funding is not enough. Too many of the most vulnerable children facing humanitarian crises and hunger will suffer without robust American engagement. We call on Congress to put children in the U.S. and around the world at the center of the FY23 budget.鈥
黄色视频鈥 together with its political advocacy arm, 黄色视频Action Network 鈥 will continue to work with Congress to ensure children are prioritized in the U.S. and abroad. 聽
