David Evans
David Evans is a seasoned public accounting leader with nearly 39 years of experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), serving clients primarily in the retail and consumer markets industries. As a partner in the firm for 26 years, he brings a wealth of knowledge serving both domestic and international companies as a partner and senior leader. He has supported clients in evaluating risks associated with both ongoing business activities as well as macroeconomic implications and has significant on-the-ground global experience.
Beginning his career in London, David transferred to the United States 35 years ago and has travelled throughout the world for his clients and PwC teams. He led the Dallas/Fort Worth Consumer Products and Services sector, where he was responsible for a team of partners and staff. He also served as the Consumer Markets portfolio leader with the SEC & Capital Markets group in PwC’s National Office, leading a team of partners and managers in supporting both domestic and foreign private issuer registrants. In this role, he understanding and evaluating risks in the retail and consumer markets industries. Prior to his retirement in July 2024, David served as the lead engagement partner for a number of significant consumer markets companies.
David is a CPA and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and qualifies as an audit committee financial expert. He received his BSc (Economics) from the London School of Economics & Political Science.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, David is a past president of the Dallas/Fort Worth Retail Executives Association, a professional development and networking organization for executives in the retail, restaurant and hospitality industries.
He joined the Board in 2025 and is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee.
